Game week 3 ended with lots of drama with 37 goals scored. So far this season, 18 penalties have been awarded to 12 teams with Leicester city getting 5 penalty calls. Here is a look at what Game week 4 might look like.
Leicester City Vs West Ham
Leicester City are welcoming West Ham to the King Power Stadium this weekend and
Brendan Rodgers’ side, looking as sharp as ever shall aim for nothing but 3 points.
The Foxes have had an amazing PL run so far, they beat Man City at Etihad by 5 goals to 2.
Jamie Vardy and the rest of the team have been flying high and haven’t lost a game this
season. Not resting on their oars and recent wins, the team welcomed 19-year-old defender,
Wesley Fofana on Friday and this goes to show that they mean business, after dropping out
of top 4 last season, on the last day.
The Hammers have won just one game this season which was at home last week where
they battered Wolves 4-nil and they will be looking to seal a 2nd win today. They also
welcomed their second senior signing, 28-year-old right-back, Vladimir Coufal on Friday.
David Moyes’ men pose a threat to the Foxes as they have had more headed efforts on goal
this season than any other team and Brendan’s men have conceded 2 goals (in the 4 goals
conceded so far) from headers. The hammers have also created 32 chances in the 3 PL
games played (2nd in the PL ranking as regards chances created) and if they become more
clinical in this game, they will give Leicester a run for points.
The last time Leicester lost a PL game to West ham was May 2018, and they’ve managed to
get 5 home wins and 4 away wins in the 26 games they have played so far. Based on the
form so far, a Leicester win is very likely.
