Manchester City vs Arsenal
Manchester City will play host to Arsenal as Mikel Arteta returns to face his former boss, Pep Guardiola.
Manchester City secured an away win against Wolves despite their seemingly shaky start. Now, Pep’s men have to find a way to keep this up if they must challenge for the title. Finding a balance between attack and defence will be a very important move as Arsenal’s press is getting more intense.
The Gunners under Mikel Arteta have started earning the respect they deserve as they are becoming less timid. Going forward, it seems as if they will rise above challenges and defeats. Mikel Arteta will also need a fine balance as Pep’s boys know how to throw a party on the pitch and he must not underrate their abilities even though Mancity are not looking as sharp as they did between 2018 and 2020 seasons. Arsenal welcomed midfielder, Thomas Partey (who is a brilliant addition to this team) from Atletico before the international break and he could make his debut at Etihad.
The last time Arsenal recorded a PL win over ManCity was in December 2015 and Mikel Arteta will look to put an end to that with his tactics as he did in the FA Cup semi-finals. This game doesn’t look as black and white as it could seem but a win for Manchester city is predicted.
