Game Week 6 has started and the quest to become the Premier League champion or at least, make top 4 continues. Game week 5 was not devoid of VAR drama and goals. EPL should offer more of that this weekend.
West Ham United Vs Manchester City
The Hammers welcome Manchester City this weekend as the battle for the EPL trophy is still very open.
Westham stunned Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham last week as they pulled an impressive comeback from 3 goals down to secure a point at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. Westham’s form in the last 3 games has been great and they will be looking to secure their fourth consecutive win today.
Pep Guardiola’s men will have to find a way to stop the hungry Hammers in a way they know how to. ManCity have lost one EPL game already but would need to find a way around being without some of their players. Although they won their Champions League game against Porto over the week with a score of 3-1, their performance this season is not as fierce as we have known ManCity to be.
Statistics show that West Ham and Manchester City have met in the EPL 38 times, and ManCity have won 23 times, recording 8 away wins. The last time West Ham beat Man City in the PL was in September 2015 and David Moyes will be looking to tactically outclass Pep Guardiola. With these two teams ready to win, at the end of 90 minutes, Manchester City should be able to secure a win over West Ham United.
